Everything listed below as INCLUDED is covered in the cost. OPTIONS are not included in the cost. As this program is custom designed, specifically for you, there are some options that may be added or exchanged with included activities at no extra charge. Let’s talk!

TRANSPORTATION

INCLUDED: When you arrive, I will pick you up at the airport in San Jose and drive you to Puerto Viejo. At the end of your stay I will return you to the airport for your flight back home. AIR FARE NOT INCLUDED

LODGING

INCLUDED: Six nights lodging at my place, Hidden Jungle Beach House. One night’s lodging in Alajuela near the airport, before the flight back home.

EXERCISE

INCLUDED: I’ll be working with you. Every day, together, we will take the exercise of your choice. You can choose from walking, running on the beach, bike rides, yoga and Pilates, hikes in the jungle, horseback riding and swimming in the ocean. Together we will set up a schedule which may include two sessions a day: one in the morning and a sunset session on the beach. This will totally be tailored to your needs, abilities and desires.

DIET

INCLUDED: Caribbean cooking class. Learn all about our healthy, local produce. Life in the south Caribbean offers fresh caught fish; free range chicken; an abundance of fresh local fruits and vegetables; and milk, eggs and cheese right from the farm. If you are here on a Saturday morning, we’ll visit the farmer’s market.
OPTION: You also have the option of touring an organic farm owned by a local Indigenous family. They’ll cook us a delicious dinner from their most recent harvest.

HEALING THERAPIES

INCLUDED: Three therapeutic or relaxing MASSAGE sessions. And two “Stretching and Moving with Nature” sessions.
OPTION: Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Spa Treatments and ONE SPECIAL OPTION is a visit to the Indigenous doctor Don Candido.

SELF HEALING / LIFE COACHING

INCLUDED: “The Life Planning Workbook” and two life coaching sessions with Barry Stevens, life planning coach and author of the workbook. All the therapies and resources in the world are only as effective as you allow them to be. Growth and healing begins in your own mind. Most of us have unknowingly created our own obstacles to success. In “Change Your Life in Costa Rica” you will have the opportunity to consider the kinds of changes that can help you move forward in life.

FUN ACTIVITIES

INCLUDED: Two local tours. We can hike to the waterfall, take a beach walk to meet a lovely Israeli couple and learn of their simple way of life in the Caribbean, see a chocolate making demonstration or take a jungle tour with a local expert learning about the area’s abundance of medicinal plants.
OPTIONS: Classes are available in yoga, martial arts, Salsa dancing and more.
